This Privacy Policy describes how CardNest (“the App”) handles your information.
No Data Collection
CardNest does not collect, store, track, or share any personal data.
We do not require account creation, and we do not track or store user information on external servers.
CardNest has no visibility into, access to, or awareness of any data you add, including contacts, photos, notes, or appointments.
Data Stored on Your Device and iCloud
Any information you enter into CardNest—such as contacts, notes, images, or appointments—is stored locally on your device only.
If you enable iCloud on your device, your data may also be securely stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple’s privacy and security policies.
CardNest does not have access to your iCloud data and does not transmit or store your data outside of your device or your personal iCloud account.
Permissions
CardNest may request access to certain device features solely to enable app functionality:
- Camera Access – Used only to capture images (e.g., business cards) that you choose to add.
- Photo Library Access – Used only to select images for use within the App (such as headers or contact visuals).
- Calendar Access – Used only to create or manage events associated with your appointments.
These permissions are used exclusively on-device and are never used for tracking, analytics, or data collection.
No Tracking
CardNest does not use tracking technologies of any kind, including:
- No analytics tools
- No advertising SDKs
- No third-party tracking
- No background data collection
Your activity within the App remains completely private.
Third-Party Services
CardNest does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
Children’s Privacy
CardNest does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
